Danielle Bradbery Gets Sassy “Friend Zone”
The Voice Season 4 Winner to Open CMT ON TOUR: BRETT ELDREDGE & THOMAS RHETT – SUITS & BOOTS This Fall
Nashville, TN – DANIELLE BRADBERY heats up the end of summer with her sassy new song “Friend Zone” – released today to iTunes and digital partners and already on the cusp of Top 15. Banjos and marching-band-like drums complement the sports-infused relationship analogies in the tune, penned by Danielle along with Mikal Blue, Johan Lindbrandt and Shari Short. The petite powerhouse previewed her Big Machine Records song for fans as she performed throughout the summer. Spending time in both Los Angeles and Nashville, The Voice Season 4 winner has channeled her influences and experiences into exciting new music. Danielle is currently honing her craft in writing sessions, exploring avenues to bring her voice into her songs.
"I'm so excited to put this song out in the universe after performing it on the down low this summer! In the song, I'm coaching guys how to get out of the dreaded 'friend zone.' The other writers and I put it into sports terms to help the guys understand a little better," Danielle shared. “It’s a vibe perfect for the start of school and football season. Dann Huff was able to bring it to life with the same sass and attitude that we had when writing it.” Previously touring with superstars Miranda Lambert, Brad Paisley and Hunter Hayes, the CMT Next Women of Country honoree will join CMT ON TOUR: Brett Eldredge & Thomas Rhett – Suits & Boots.
