Embracing Country Music's Obsession with Bruno Mars

Who doesn't love the iconic Bruno Mars? The pop/R&B singer, who infuses a bit of a '70's flair into his sound, has racked in numerous hits that everyone falls in love with - who hasn't busted out dancing to his hit with Mark Ronson "Uptown Funk," or felt whimsical to ballads such as "Just the Way You Are" or "When I Was Your Man?" Country singers are no exception, and we're showing five of our favorite covers.

Billy Currington - Treasure

The crowds erupt when the opening chords start on this number and Currington adds to the excitement with some seductive hip movements.

Thomas Rhett - Uptown Funk

How does your face not light up when watching this video? The excitement and joy of performing this song is radiating off of Rhett and you can't help but shake along (or turn off repeat). Impersonating the music video through the style, the moves....... favorite cover.

Chris Young - Grenade

One of the first country artists to start integrating Mars into their setlist, crooner Chris Young elected to cover one of Mar's mid-tempo hits to the praise of fans in attendance. Let's hope that Young, known for his own dancing abilities, one days incorporate them into another one of Bruno's covers.

Dustin Lynch - Just the Way You Are

Radio personality Bobby Bones thought he was throwing a curve ball to Dustin Lynch in requesting a cover but Lynch threw one right back. We love this simplified version of the ballad, beginning at the 1 minute mark.

Thomas Rhett - When I Was Your Man

Rhett's second cover on the list is a beautifully simple composition of Mars' biggest ballad, "When I Was Your Man." In a stripped down video, you can embrace the pure emotional talent of Rhett's voice.
