Grand Ole Opry Continued 90th Anniversary Celebration with Two Star-Studded Shows Last Night
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Grand Ole Opry® presented by Humana® celebrated its 90th birthday bash this past weekend and tonight continued the celebration with two additional star-studded shows.
Country superstar and Grand Ole Opry member Alan Jackson performed and also celebrated the 25th Anniversary of his Grand Ole Opry debut. Jackson became a member of the Opry in 1991. Reigning CMA and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert also appeared along with Marty Stuart, Del McCoury Band, Connie Smith, Kristian Bush, and Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers.
The Opry’s 90th Anniversary celebration will continue throughout 2015. Among those coming soon to the Opry stage are Kelsea Ballerini, Easton Corbin, Alison Krauss, Loretta Lynn, Ronnie Milsap, Kacey Musgraves, David Nail, Rascal Flatts, and more.
