“Old Dominion….helping to usher in a new wave of country.” -Billboard
Nashville, TENN. – RCA Nashville’s Old Dominion holds ownership of the No. 1 song in Country music. Today their GOLD-certified hit song “Break Up With Him” held the No. 1 seat for the second week in a row on the Billboard/BDS Country Airplay chart in addition to reaching the No. 1 position on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country chart.
Prior to “Break Up With Him” reaching No. 1 the five songwriters that make-up Old Dominion - Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen, Brad Tursi, Geoff Sprung, and Whit Sellers - have together racked up FIVE No. 1 records at Country Radio for artists Dierks Bentley, Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Tyler Farr and The Band Perry. Now they add “Break Up With Him” to that list, but what’s more exciting is that “Break Up With Him” is the first song that Old Dominion has written together collectively as a group.
This past Friday, November 6, Old Dominion released their debut album Meat and Candy which Entertainment Weekly calls a “deceptively smart, occasionally cheeky, stellar debut.” The highly anticipated album was produced by GRAMMY Award-winner, Shane McAnally.
Fans of Old Dominion can catch them tonight in Indianapolis, Tuesday night in Kansas City and Thursday in Los Angeles. For details visit www.olddominionband.com
