Country Music Trio Sister C Aren't for the “Faint of Heart” with New Single

Dallas, Tex. – Country music trio Sister C burst onto the scene this year with their contagious single “Faint of Heart,” which is currently being spun in heavy rotation at the Dallas-Forth Worth Cumulus owned KSCS in their home state of Texas and peaked at #12 on SiriusXM The Highway recently. The single, written by real life sisters that make up Sister C, Cirby, Carli and Celbi along with Victoria Banks (Sara Evans, Billy Currington and Jessica Simpson), was produced by multi-platinum selling country star Lee Brice and Nashville hitmaker Jon Stone (Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton and Rascal Flatts). “Faint of Heart” is nothing short of an anthem that every woman will sing along with and relate to and is the bonus track on Sister C’s debut EP early next year, also produced by Brice. Fans can check out an acoustic version of the single from Sister C’s exclusive Blue Room Sessions that they record in their Nashville, TN home that they share together: http://sisterc.com/videos/blue-room-sessions-faint-of-heart/. “I stumbled across “Faint of Heart” and Sister C on YouTube and the song immediately caught my attention,” said Operations Manager, Cumulus Media- Dallas/Ft. Worth, J.R. Schumann. “It doesn’t take more than a listen to these girls to really get a feel for the true talent they have. I’m often asked why I would “step out” on an unsigned artist like this. My response is always the same – good music is good music – and musically, there’s nothing that separates what’s coming from the big labels in Nashville and Sister C. The numbers we’re getting back on the song prove it was more than just a hunch. They’re the real deal. Period.”

“When we sat down to write "Faint of Heart" with the lovely Victoria Banks we wanted to come up with a fun song that ladies could really relate to,” said Sister C. “It’s a quirky take on being a woman and the trials and tribulations that come along with that. So far the response we have gotten has been great so we are excited to get this song out there!”

Sister C, who were first discovered as finalists on the second season of X Factor working with coach Simon Cowell, are seasoned songwriters, performers and musicians who have been creating music together since their early days in a small Texas town. Their undeniable talent is clear with every note on “Faint of Heart.” With a catchy chorus, “You can get knocked up, you can get knocked down, Yea you paint your nails and lips and eyes, Suck it in and work it out, You’re uptight if you don’t go far enough, Easy if you go too far, Being a woman, ain’t for the faint of heart,” this single was the clear choice to start with. The single has already been receiving rave reviews by new fans, radio, and media alike.
