ACM Awards Co-Hosts: Say Goodbye to “Bluke” and Hello to…… “Druke?”
The Academy of Country Music recently released a promo featuring Luke Bryan hanging up his cell phone after what seems to be a heartbreaking relationship-ending phone call. He then turns to a mystery bartender, who asks what he could help him with, and, after ordering a beer, vents about how he needs to find a new co-host for the ACM Awards in Vegas, confirming for country music fans that it was Blake Shelton giving Bryan the bad news on the other end of that call. But who is that mystery bartender? His voice sounds awfully familiar. And whose song is that playing in the background? Wait a minute, there was a dog at the door at the start of the promo. Bryan said he’d take a beer (or “Grab a Beer?”) and when he was finished rattling off everything he wants in his co-host, the bartender told him to “Tip that on back. I’m sure you’ll find your answer.” Hmm….. Anyone else thinking all clues lead to Dierks Bentley? He did flat out ask Bryan “What can I help you with?” Looks like Bryan found his answer.
