RaeLynn Returns to Home State for NFL Sunday Night Football
NASHVILLE, TN - Kicking off NFL Sunday Night Football, charismatic singer/songwriter RAELYNN performed the national anthem Sunday (12/13) at NRG Stadium in Houston, TX. While the New England Patriots defeated the Houston Texans, the Baytown native was proud to be back in her home state. “Both football and music are pretty significant when you grow up in Texas so being asked to sing 'The Star Spangled Banner' near my hometown is huge for me," expressed RaeLynn. "It truly is an honor to help celebrate all of the excitement that comes with Sunday Night Football each week." With opening slots on major tours with Miranda Lambert and Rascal Flatts, award nominations and an evolved maturity exhibited throughout her songwriting, RaeLynn has continued to shine since a lengthy run on The Voice (season 2). The CMT Next Women of Country honoree earned her first CMT Music Awards nominations for Female Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year earlier this summer with her GOLD-certified single “God Made Girls” (The Valory Music Co.). The newly engaged entertainer is currently working on new music. Follow RaeLynn’s adventures on Twitter and raelynnofficial.net/.
