John Michael Montgomery Joins Webster Public Relations Roster
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Webster Public Relations is honored to announce that country romantic balladeer John Michael Montgomery joins the firm’s long roster of clients. “John Michael’s career is full of heart and hits,” said Kirt Webster, founder and CEO of Webster Public Relations. “For many, John Michael is and has been one of the most recognizable voices in country music. Born in Danville, Kentucky into a family of musicians, Montgomery learned guitar from his father and performed for the first time in public at the age of five with his father’s band, which also featured his mother on drums. Following high school, he frequented the local honky-tonk circuit and was eventually discovered in Lexington, which led to a contract with Atlantic Records in 1991. The 1992 album release, Life’s A Dance, saw Montgomery rocket from local honky-tonker to a national star, and from there, the rest is history. In 1994, Montgomery released his sophomore album and multi-platinum blockbuster Kickin’ It Up featuring three No. 1 hits “I Swear,” “Be My Baby Tonight” and “If You’ve Got Love.” Montgomery followed the 1994 release with nine more studio albums. “I lift my glass high with a toast of excitement as I join Kirt Webster and his wonderful team at Webster Public Relations and together getting me and my music out to as many people as possible,” said Montgomery.
