Multi-platinum selling country star Clay Walker, along with his non-profit organization Band Against

MS (BAMS), will host the fourth annual “Band Against MS Ride” in Humble, TX (right outside of Houston) on Saturday, March 26th. The ride will start and finish at the beautiful home of the Shell Houston Open PGA Tournament, one week before the pros tee off. With more than 1,000 participants in previous years, the event, presented by Teva and Shell and sponsored by Kroger, Bike Barn, Coca Cola, Volunteer Houston and Shell Houston Open, is still accepting registrants at http://www.bandagainstms.org/bamsride2016.html. Clay, who is currently on tour with several shows scheduled in Texas, will kick off the “Band Against MS Ride” with a performance of the National Anthem.

“This event holds a special place in my heart because it combines two of my favorite things, cycling and raising awareness about multiple sclerosis,” said Clay. “Over the last three years all of the people who have taken a part in the ride have expressed their gratitude for this event and I am so excited we are able to do it again this year.”

The “Band Against MS Ride” offers several route options including 20 Mi, 30 Mi and 65 Mi (Metric Century) so that riders at all levels will have options. Following the ride, a special lunch will be provided to all participants. Proceeds from the ride will benefit Band Against MS, Inc. 501(c) (3) a non-profit committed to providing educational information for those living with Multiple Sclerosis, funding programs researching a cure for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and funding programs helping those living with the disease. Clay founded Band Against MS in 2003 because he wanted to provide support to others living with the same disease he has been battling since 1996. To date, BAMS has raised more than 4.5 million dollars.

Clay has been on the road impressing fans and critics alike performing some of his biggest hits including “She Won’t Be Lonely Long,” “What’s It To You?,” “This Woman and This Man,” “If I Could Make A Living” and “Live Until I Die,” as well as testing out new music including his recently released song “Right Now,” which fans have gone crazy for.
