A Thousand Horses Praise Simple Life in "Southernality"

Republic Nashville recording artists, A Thousand Horses, continue to rock souls with their new single “Southernality”. A Thousand Horses first single off their debut album, Smoke, was widely received by fans while their unique mix of country, southern rock, and blues has them gaining

a vigorous following.

“Southernality” jumps into a rocking catchy beat and highlights some stunning harmonica riffs as writers Michael Hobby (lead singer), Corey Crowder, and Neil Mason share their perspective on the southern way of life. The lyrics portray a laid back style of living, all while wearing your old pair of jeans and a ball cap and acknowledging how southerners like to treat their ladies. Overall, the theme to “Southernality” is engaging to the hard working and beer drinking American.

Yes sir, yes ma'am talk with a drawl

Ain't much for runnin' less, we're runnin' from the law

We like our ladies sweet like we like sweet tea

And we know how to treat 'em, it's our southernality

A Thousand Horses is currently on tour with Jason Aldean’s “We Were Here Tour”. The band was recently nominated for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year award for the 2016 ACM Awards and will be performing at the ACM Party for a Cause festival the same weekend - watch the ACM’s April 3rd to see if they take home a win. A Thousand Horses album and single “Southernality” is available wherever digital music is sold.
