Martina McBride Premieres Title Track Music Video Ahead Of April 29TH Album Release

Powerhouse Vocalist Gets Back to Roots with RECKLESS Watch Vibrant New Music Video Now On VEVO

NASHVILLE, TN – Launching the title track on February 26th, award-winning country superstar Martina McBride has debuted the transformative new music video. Watch RECKLESS now, which filmed in Watertown with director Jeff Venable. The Grammy®-nominated vocalist, who spent the last several months in the studio working on her 13th studio album, will release RECKLESS on April 29th through Nash Icon Records. "This album feels so good! That's the best way I can describe it. I spent a lot of time finding songs that felt personal to me. I figure if I can relate to them someone else will too. There are songs about love, life, hope, loss, leaving, and coming home,” states McBride. Recorded at Nashville's iconic Blackbird Studios, RECKLESS, showcases McBride's unparalleled vocals and emotional depth as she gets back to her country roots. The songs have an outstanding mix of classic country and a contemporary edge with producers Nathan Chapman and Dann Huff at the helm. “And that's what making this album felt like to me....coming home. We took our time and just let the songs and production develop and even though working with Dann and Nathan together was a new experience, somehow we captured a sound that feels like the music I've done my whole career and yet fresh at the same time," elaborates McBride.

RECKLESS Tracklisting: 1. Reckless 2. It Ain’t Pretty 3. Just Around The Corner 4. Everybody Wants To Be Loved 5. Low All Afternoon 6. That’s The Thing About Love 7. The Real Thing 8. Diamond 9. We’ll Pick Up Where We Left Off 10. You And You Alone

Premiering the music video, PEOPLE surmises “…’Reckless' is an opportunity for the singer to celebrate taking chances – and judging from the tune's video, recklessness agrees with her." Songwriters Sarah Buxton, Zach Crowell and Heather Morgan penned lyrics like "You could have let me down / But you reached your hand out / Could have left me for dead / But you pulled me from the edge” that have captured the attention of fans and music critics alike.

“…the power anthem puts Martina’s soaring vocals and gratitude on full display…" - NASH Country Weekly “…worth the wait.” - CMT.com “Martina proves that she still has magic as she takes this beautifully written song…and makes it come alive with warmth through her vocal talent. This song will be a hit because it’s authentic, it’s contemporary, and it’s universally relatable.” - All Access

McBride is set to hit the road later this year with tour stops in select cities across the U.S. and Canada.
