OWEN SHARES HIS “LOVE BUS” ROAD TRIP VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS

Nashville, TN – Jake Owen’s “American Country Love Song” enters the Digital Country Songs chart with the highest single sales debut of his career, selling 35,400. The song was the No. 1 most added single at country radio last week and this week on official impact date garnered a total of 96 first week stations, which shatters his previous best. “American Country Love Song” is available now at all digital retail partners.

“It is such a great feeling to have a single out that is connecting with people,” Jake says. “We’re in tour rehearsals right now and I’m so stoked to perform ‘American Country Love Song’ live for people this week at the Houston Rodeo and the Runaway Music Festival in Kissimmee.”

One week ago today, after driving his 1966 VW bus 1,437 miles on the “Love Bus” Road Trip, Jake arrived at the Southernmost Point of the Continental U.S.A. in Key West, FL. He made multiple stops along his route, starting in Nashville, to hang out with fans plus perform a few tunes. The day-by-day video clips and his real time Facebook posts chronicling his journey have gone viral and if you haven’t seen them, get ready to laugh.

Recap video pieces:

“Man, our ‘Love Bus’ road trip really changed my life,” Jake says. “It showed me that when you can make people smile, it’s inspiring. I hope everyone we met along the way felt the joy that I felt. We made this “Love Bus” road trip together. I really appreciate everyone who came out to some of our destinations and everyone traveling with me via social media all the way from Nashville to Key West. For a few days, we made life our playground and we shared moments I’ll never forget. It was awesome!”
