NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Powerhouse vocalist Morgan Myles performed at a CMT Empowering Education event held at Pellissippi State Community College (PSCC) in Knoxville, TN on Friday (3/18). CMT Empowering Education encourages viewers to pursue post-secondary education. This event was one of 15 that CMT is hosting at community colleges across the United States this year, helping to put a face on education by highlighting student success stories. Myles, a Belmont University graduate and former student of Berklee, shared just how important education has been throughout her life and how going to college and pursuing an education can help fuel self-confidence. She performed a handful of recognizable cover tunes and her original songs, “Nobody Better Than You,” “Adeline” and “Whiskey Dreaming,” from her independently released EP Miss Morgan Myles. She joins a list of artists offering support for the initiative including Carrie Underwood, Dustin Lynch, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, and more. Currently, Myles is performing shows Nationwide and recently opened SOLD OUT shows for Kane Brown and Old Dominion.
