Cam’s “Mayday” Enters Top 40, Lyric Video Goes Wide
3-time ACM-nominated “Burning House” Surpasses 1 Million Downloads, Becomes #1 Female and #2 Artist Best-Selling Country Song To Impact Radio Since July
Nashville, TN – On the heels of her critically-acclaimed debut album, Untamed, increasing in sales by 83% this week on the Billboard Top Country Album chart, country star Cam heads to Las Vegas to appear on the 51st Annual ACM Awards on Sunday, April 3.
Also ascending this week, “Mayday,” the new single from the Arista Nashville/RCA Records singer-songwriter, enters the Top 40 and jumps from 42* to 39* on both theBillboard and Country Aircheck airplay charts. Of significant note, Cam’s 3-time ACM Awards-nominated “Burning House,” recently surpassed the 1 Million downloads threshold. With this feat, Cam’s smash hit becomes the #1 country female and #2 country artist most-downloaded single of all the releases impacting country airplay charts since July 6, 2015, the impact date of “Burning House.” This platinum-certified #1 hit is nominated for ACM Single, Song and Video of the Year.
Cam, with six ACM Awards nominations, is the most-nominated female on this year’s award show. The ACM Awards will air live on Sunday, April 3, beginning at 8:00 PM ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
