Country and Comedy to Team Up at Zanies Nashville
HOST AND SONGWRITER JOE DENIM WITH MC AND COMEDIAN ANDREW DORFMAN BRING UNEDITED SONGS AND STORIES FROM THE ROAD TO ZANIES NASHVILLE ON APRIL 13TH FEATURING SONGWRITERS IRA DEAN AND SHANNON LAWSON WITH ADDITIONAL GUESTS TO BE ANNOUNCED
Nashville, TN – Songwriter/entertainer Joe Denim and Zanies co-owner’s Brian and Andrew Dorfman, along with support from BMI, are setting out to break the mold of what is to be expected at a songwriters round or a comedy club. To present a platform where Country Music and Comedy meet. They’ve realized that when the stage lights go down and the bus pulls out off to the next gig, the artists who just performed are still fully charged and energized by the rush of the live show. Winding down is usually sitting in the front lounge of a bus doing 80 mph playing songs and telling jokes (that fans don’t normally get to hear) to help make the miles roll away. On April 13th, with Joe Denim as host, and Andrew Dorfman as MC Zanies will launch the first of the Joe Denim’s Truck Buddies Series, which will bring together some of country music’s most acclaimed songwriters and musicians for an evening of sometimes truthful, sometimes fictional, sometimes sarcastic, but always funny songs and stories. Where songwriters and comedians come together and most importantly where fans can hear these unedited songs and stories live, bringing the front lounge of the bus to the public for the first time. Songwriters Ira Dean and Shannon Lawson will be a part of the show on April 13th with additional guests to be announced soon. Proceeds to benefit MusiCares.
