The Country Note

Minnesota and the Twin Cities stole Megan's gypsy heart from South Dakota, but her roots will always lead back to God’s Country, Central Sodak. While She may have packed up her boots for the city, ya can’t take the country out of her.

 

When Megan says country music is the soundtrack to her life, she means more than being raised on it and listening to it daily. Country music has gotten her through every obstacle, heartbreak, bad day, and fabulous day she's experienced. She has the lyrics ‘I’m gonna smile my best smile & laugh like it’s going out of style’ from “Learning to Live Again” by Garth Brooks, not only as my mantra, but also a tattoo.

 

When she's not jamming to country tunes or dragging friends to concerts, Megan can be found cheering for her favorite teams: the Oklahoma Sooners, the Minnesota Twins, Vikings, and Wild; spending time with friends and family, and living life to the fullest.

 

Megan is a Communications Professional by trade getting to utilize her love of social media and marketing daily. The only way she could be luckier is if the subject was always country music.
