NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Following a weekend-long global premiere across all CMT platforms, MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Palladia and CMT Canada; the “epic green screen dance party” (Taste of Country) that isHunter Hayes’ new music video for “21” is now available to viewers everywhere this week. Nashville-based creator Kristin Barlowe helmed the project, which Hayes said was “the most fun I’ve ever had on set” and even features a cameo by his recently adopted greyhound, “Cole.” Watch the video for “21” here. Hayes has been turning heads with his streaming-and-digital-only release strategy for the single, which Billboard called “country’s biggest digital experiment to date.” Since its debut just a few weeks ago, “21” has already racked up nearly 10 million streams and entered the Top 40 on Billboard’scountry songs chart. Hayes continues to introduce new music to listeners with the innovative strategy, forgoing any plans to release a physical project for the time being.
